András Rónai, the graduating student of the Hungarian Dance Academy is the winner of the 6th Nureyev Ballet Competition! In the international competition 51 contestants of 19 countries including 15 students of the Hungarian Dance Academy participated between 18 - 22 March 2013. In the final round there were Adrienn Horányi, Nana Koizumi, Riho Okuno, Gergő Balázsi and András Rónai. Concert exam The graduating ballet class led by Nóra Szőnyi and György Szakály is going to perform the concert program - with participation of younger ballet students - three times in June: 5 June at 7 pm. in Palace of Arts, Festival Theatre, 27 June at 11 am. in the State Opera House (dress rehearsal), 28 June at 7 pm. in the State Opera House (concert exam). For the performances held in the Zoltán Nagy Jr. Theatre Hall of the Hungarian Dance Academy tickets can be purchased via internet from now! Through the webpage: www.jegy.hu - for some handling fee - you can buy and print out your own ticket for the chosen seat. 26th International Summer Dance Course The 26th International Summer Dance Course of the Hungarian Dance Academy will take place between 22 July – 3 August 2013. Classes are held daily from 8:30 am with internationally reknown masters. For more details please click here. Awards given on the occasion of the International Dance Day On April 29 at the gala held in the Palace of Arts on the occasion of the International Dance Day professors and students of the Hungarian Dance Academy have been honoured with the professional award of the Hungarian Dancers\' Association.
